When we are too well pleased with ourselves,
When our dreams come true because we dreamed too little;
When we arrived safely, because we sailed closely to shore.
Stir us Lord to dare more boldly
To venture more seas
Where storm will show your mastery
Where losing sight of land shall we find the stars
In the name of Him who pushed the horizons of our hopes
And invited the brave to follow him.
